I (Brooklynn) was working in a kitchen as a culinary intern and my husband, Patrick Mayolo, of Italian decent (The Miaolo Family), was finishing up his last year of school. Among the many things we have in common, our mutual enthusiasm for food quickly surfaced. We were constantly inspired by the different cultural cuisines and flavors the city had to offer. So inspired, in fact, that when we moved back to Arizona in the summer of 2021, we were determined to bring with us our favorite staple from New York City- Neapolitan pizza.
